Software Used: Vue | Maya | Photoshop

This illustration were created for the debut album cover of Karin Leitner - [link] - But her producer preferred to use a photograph of the musician on the cover which is a better strategy for a debut album.

Close up tree trunk sculpted in Maya. Deer from Poser. Rest is created with using Vue. Planet is a pre-work texture. Fog, haze ,birds, falling stars and color variations done in Photoshop.

I hope you enjoy. Comments and critics are welcome as usual...

all i need to say is one word and thats AMAZING
Thoce cluds came out great, they are very crisp and show no repetitive patterns, both of which can be hard to get in Vue, they are reminiscent of the TG2 clouds a little bit ( and thats a good thing, I want TG2 just for its clouds lol )

Why is delivering things in a car called "Shipment" while delivering things by boat is called "Cargo" ?
Actually I played a lot with the settings of the clouds and came up with this. I've got used to work with Vue - so even with all peachy distant planet render features it is hard for me to use TG2 :D

what seemed to be the end, was not the end at all
Simply beautiful. It's good to see you submitting work again!
Looking good! I recently started using Vue for all my landscapes (Maya/mental ray choke out on heavy plant scenes...) and it's wonderful, if a bit underpowered compared to Maya. Still, I've not approached anything like your stuff, and it's inspiring for me! Thanks for sharing...
