Tried to test my Sigma 70-300 with Nikon D90 at my home environment. Since it was really cold and dark outside

Yep shallow depth of field works really fine with it. Gives nice bookeh effect (but I should test it on the outside) It's only lack of vibration reduction but it was only lens which fits to my budget and I think I can do good work with it anyway...

Ah I think the lense is okay... It's mostly a matter of light... So with natural light it will be much easier. At least this is my experience ^^
